Things have not gone well. I haven't picked up a pair bigger than TT. And both of my AK's missed. I've bluffed off about half my chips, and currently sit at 4k. :(
At the 2nd break. Things have improved a bit. My table has basically just been trading chips around, but in the meantime 5k more players have busted out. Down to 4300. 2600 get paid. I have about 1/2 an average stack so I have a lot of work to do. I've been blind stealing enough to keep my chips about even, but haven't really had any flop play since my double up from 6k.
Well the blinds got up to 600/1200 with a 60 ante. There was about 2400 in the pot at the start of the hand. After going card dead for 3 rounds I was down to 8800. It was folded to me on the cutoff and I had Q8os. About the worst hand I'd consider moving in with, but with an M of less than 4, I figured it was a good time to take a shot. Called by KQ flop came Q high, turn was a K, and that was it. Busted in about 3500th. Very shortly out of the money. Alas.
