Queens, queens, oh my god, queens...

I had been dreaming and talking about poker all day so when 8:30 finally rolled around, I was thrilled to race home and get some multitable action. I did not get off on the right foot, to say the least - after 1 hour of play I was down about $20, which was great considering at one point I think i was down $40 which is horrible. How did I find myself in such a hole you ask? Queens. I played my queens like a donkey.

About 10 hands in, im dealt the ladies on the button - UTG raises me to $1, I reraise to $2 - fold or call, fold or call - UTG raises to $5 - damnit, shit, fuck - I call (mistake number one) - Flop comes A shit, shit, shit , 10, 4 rainbow - He checks hmm, its really hard to put this guy on a hand, I mean ive only played 10 hands with him and I wasent really paying attention to this table the whole time - Fuck it, I have $8 invested, hes afraid of the ace, im going to steal it - raise $5, fold, fold, fold, please fold - ALL IN for $10 more - im bad - fold.

What fealt like 5 seconds later, I hit another pair of queens at another table. This time, im under the gun, I open for my usual 0.60 raise, I get 3 callers - not what I was looking for. No ace, no king, no ace, no king - Flop comes 10d, 9d, 8d - wow - Big blind checks, I raise $1.50, Call, Call, Call - wow - Turn, 6c - sigh - Check, Check, Check, Check - What the fuck... is someone slow playing a flush? Are the straits afraid of the flush? hmmm - River, Qd - such a tease... such a tease... - check, - fuck it - Raise $3, Call, Call, All-in $23 - Yeah, im an idiot. - fold, fold, fold...

Im not even gonna bother going over what was wrong with the way I played those hands, if you dont know then let me know and we can play some heads up as I explain it to you.

After the first hour I took a break to watch a few episodes of scrubs I downloaded, good show. I was then put to a decision, go to bed, or play 2 hours of poker... I wasent tired so... two hours later im up $50 on the night and get to go to bed happy.

Tonight im playing in a little house tournament run every wednesday night, from what I hear the players are top notch, im sure you will be hearing about it tomorow.
